Anyone noticed a new problem with Megamek, the newest Stable? With mine it seems that most of the time playing a computer the game sticks. on my screen it says its the opponents turn to move, on their screen it says the same! So it just sticks like that until i get bored and close the thing. Anyone else encountered problems of this kind?

You're playing against the AI? And how many 'Mechs are on the board?
The MegaMek AI runs extremely slowly when it has a lot of 'Mechs to deal with. I once made the mistake of trying to play Monte Diablo against the AI. Not much happened before I got tired of it.
If that's not it, then I have no idea.

Is this a new problem for you for this version?
The AI is definitly built for small scale games
However, it seemed to me the AI is even slower than usual on the new version. I wonder if it is just me.

I've had bot problems playing lance vs. 1 mech (I have the single mech) using 0.30.0 Stable. However MM has a bugfix out 0.30.1 Stable already, dunno if it fixes the bot bug but you can look at the history.txt file and find out. Anyways, I can't check right now cause I'm already on my "away" time lol. Lataz.

I had a similar problem playing on tuesday AI had 16 units and i had 8 it lasted till about turn 18 before it died

So that's the problem. I've only tried the new stable release a couple of times. Monte Diablo seemed to freeze, but besides that I only played a few lance vs lance battles.

I have found that lance on lance battles are the maximum I am willing to push my patience for. _________________ too lazy to make a sig...

What i normally do is let the bot plot its move in the background and do something else.
Also it's a good idea to stop every few rounds and restart from the saved game..
