For a new guy to BT, this is a commendable effort. My only gripe is that 56 heat point generated with an alpha strike (including the dual shot of the UAC), even with 15 DHS laboring away, the ammo will still cook off and is mech boast alot of ammo which equates to huge explosions.
A better option would be a Gauss Rifle and it helps limit the amount of explosive ammo carried on the mech. And add much needed punch to his ERPPC and LRM long range combo.
For a first timer, I will give him a 3.

I'll forward your comments to him
Also, thanks to all who have, or will comment on both this and the Hummingbird.
Now to dissect your review
Heat management with this wasn't really an issue in the game he and I played after he designed this. Once the MedLas were in range he just dropped off the LRMs cause they were inside minimum anyways. Then he just alternated some of the weapons and heat would go up to 4, then drop, 4, drop, etc. Which means he never had any ill effects. The one time he did go over 4 was firing everything but the LRMs and only firing the AC in normal mode. Still, it worked pretty good, but I kept missing his leg full of AC ammo heh. I had it bare of armor and did 2 internal (no crits %^&%%^!!) and just couldn't hit it again for like 3 rounds. Then he killed me heh.

Bah then he knows BT well enough.
4 heat is the magic number if you can afford it.

That would be called bad luck.
If you play D&D than I would blame the GM for letting Beshaba (Forgotten Realms goddess of bad luck) kiss you.
