The concept is kinda cool but your mech lacks the real long range weapons that C3 Master have which kinda defeats the purpose of a C3 master unit.

Originally it had ER PPC and it can be modified for ER large laser, but it would have problems with TSM (slowing it down) or with overheating. Single LL and standard heat sinks don't look well on high-tech mech and the firepower is quite low. It can still glide around, firing form max range thanks to C3 network and it's a carrier of C3 for scout lances, so I think that the weapons are sufficient.

Bad news is that your longest ranged weapon is only ER medium lasers. PPCs & LLs (including their ER variants) LRMs, mosts ACs and Gauss rifles greatly outrange the mediums and all these are heavy hitters to lighter mechs except for the smaller ACs.

Opting for a single large bore weapon like an ERPPC and stripping out the TSM would be more efficient.

If it had that, it would make the perfect leader for my PEST mechs. Just swap something for a C3 slave.

I wanted it to go as fast as possible, C3 master for speed demons. For slower mech's the Combine has Bishamons. And the weapons are sufficient doesn't mean good or excellent. The mech is to provide C3 net core, not to fight big mechs it should pick it's target carefully.

Which is why it should have a long range weapon without mins.

Not only do you stay out of trouble, you can plink away and piss the enemy off and C3 Masters get a bonus in accuracy too. Sure your damage will be overall lower but hey, you are exposing yourself to be at minimum risk while still doing something.

Also think how the Combine warriors would feel if their leader is always trying to stay out of combat. Pray they don't try to kill him first.

Damn straight and that proves my point. Most mechs in the 3050 era have greater range than 12 hexes, so you want to outrange them most of the time especially for C3 Masters on lights.

Enough debate, make a Scout leader with an ERPPC muhahahah.

That's only 8/12/0

I built it for speed, not for range.

I'll make something else.
