Question since I can't find where I put my BMR.
Does anyone know how many mechs there are in a mech division? Also, what would such a unit have in the way of aerospace, infantry, and vehicle support?
Thanks.

Here's how it breaks down:
Lance - 4 'mechs, 4 vehicles, 4 infantry squads, or 2 fighters.
Company - 3 Lances
Battalion - 3 Companies
Regiment - 3-6 Battalions
Brigade - 8 Battalions
Division - 3+ Regiments or Brigades
Corps - 2+ Divisions
Army - 2+ Corps

got my trusty calculator...
Company - 3 Lances = 12 mechs
Battalion - 3 Companies = 36 mechs
Regiment - 3-6 Battalions = 108-216 mechs
Brigade - 8 Battalions = 288 mechs
Division - 3+ Regiments or Brigades = at least 318 mechs.

I disagree with the Battalion size listed. Usually, the armies of the IS deploy battalions at 40 mechs, which includes a command lance. This is not a rule just the general trend.

Besides the battalion command lance, it's my understanding that many units deploy a regimental command lance or company.
I've also never heard of a six battalion regiment. A reinforced regiment might have four battalions, but not six.
As for the conventional forces. It's my understanding that unless you're running an RCT, your 'Mech units (for the most part) have no integral conventional units. Instead, conventional units are attached in whatever numbers might be needed. So there's really no way to determine it.

it is ussually three battalions of mechs with additional companies or battalions of mechanized/infantry support per regiment.
so it is feasable that a regiment have three battalions of mech with additional support battalions (tank, infantry, aerospace)
Sword of Light Regiments have an extra battalion of mechs to total 144.
