With all this talk about the new Star Wars movie, I started wondering something. How is your favorite character from each trilogy?
From the original three my favorite has to be Han Solo. The rogue with a heart of gold.
Have not seen episode III yet, but currently leaning towards Obi-Wan. They gave him some great lines in the new movies.

Let's see from Ep4 I liked the Stormtroopers and the Rebel Soldiers...thought they were cool. Vader ruled though...
Then Ep5 the Snowtroopers and the Hoth Troops were neat. So was Bobba Fett and other Bounty Hunters.
Ep6 the Scout Troopers and the AT-ST drivers were neat.
Then Ep1, well here it was harder to find a decent favorite character...so I will have to pass on this one.
Ep2---Jango/Boba Fett, the Cloners, the Clone Troopers
EP3-- ALL of the Clonetroopers and the Wookies as well as Bail Oragana. I did like the more daker Ankain PRIOR to the black armor style. Once the armor was on him it was like reliving all of the cool stuff from the so long ago way back when...

I have to agree, Han Solo. As for the newer episodes, I liked Quia Gon (spelling?) in episode one. However, nothing at all will ever beat watching Yoda duel that guuy in episode two!! Even my non-star wars liking wife liked that one.

Episode 1- Droideka's, their neat dorids
Episode 2-Mace Windu by far, Samuel L Jackson just has such style he's perfect for a Jedi
Episode 3- Not seen it yet.
Episode 4- The stormtroopers, they were great.
Episode 5-Boba, or maybe C-3PO, he is realistically moany about everything! Although my absolute favorite Thing is the AT-AT's out of the entire Star Wars universe.
Episode 6- Scout Troopers or the Eerie Royal Guards.
My favorite expanded universe character is probably Corran Horn

Jar-Jar Binks! Closely followed by Ewoks, and that little laughing rat-thingy living in Jabba the hut's navel.
What can I say, I really like unique characters.

Hmm...tough one...
From the original trilogy, I'd probably say Grand Moff Tarkin...tied with Boba Fett...
From the prequels? Possibly Count Dooku...tied with Jango Fett (and his clones)...
Clone Wars? Ventriss...along with the ARC troopers...
The Clone Wars era comics? Ventriss, Aayla Secura and Alpha...

Ep 1: Senator Palpatine
Ep 2: Chancellor Palpatine
Ep 3: Emperor Palpatine
Ep 4: Han Solo
Ep 5: Captain/Admiral Piett
Ep 6: Nien Numb
EU: Grand Admiral Thrawn
Overall its a toss between Kun and Thrawn

E3 General Grevious, Droids, Clones (Anakin is too stupid and naive, Palpatine pulls the strings, but he is too lucky)
E4 to E6 Vader of course, because I'm

He is Nien Numb, a Sullustan. As I recall, he was piloting the Falcon. Sullustans are supposed to be good pilots.

Ep. 1: The Menace of Bad Script-writing. Darth Maul. Wish they'd given him more to do though, and kept him around longer. It's a shame ep. 1 sucked so much. Qui-Gon was good too. I never liked Dooku much. Poor Christopher Lee, he never lasts beyond the first ten minutes of the third installment of the trilogy.
Ep. 2 Attack of the Drones. just sucked, so I don't have a favorite character.
Ep. 3 Chancellor Palpatine. Ian McDiarmid truly outdid himself this time, and managed to drag up Haydn Christianson along with him.
Ep. 4 Grand Moff Tarkin. "Would you prefer another target perhaps? A military target? Then name the system!"
Ep. 5 Vader. This is the best movie of the whole series in my opinion.
Ep. 6 Anyone who kills an Ewok.

Pre-Movies: Jolee Bindo, grouchy old man is just to dang funny.
Ep 1: Darth Maul, just too dang cool
Ep 2: Jango, wether I liked him or not, hes a Fett
Ep 3: tied...ish... had they followed the mini-toons Grievous would have been my fav, hands down, but given the way they portrayed him hes tied with Obi-Wan
Ep 4:Han Solo, gotta love the attitude
Ep 5: DACK! haha no. going with Vader This time 'round.
Ep 6: Wedge Antilles, the man who (in my book) blew up the second deathstar, lando just helped.
Post-movies: Thrawn.
