The Insect Class System Defence Vessel was the first system defence vessel
built by the OLA in an effort to destroy pirates and such before they can
reach the planet

The Insect class are rather slow vessel but pack a potent weapon load for
their size with 13 Heavy NPPCs and 16 NL 55s they can match the firepower of a
destroyer,with 300 tons of armour they can take considerable punishment

over large amounts of space in a short space of time
