Ok, I'm trying to decide on what to use as a fourth mech in this lance of mine. The current 3 in the lance are a Warhammer, Stalker, and a Crusader.
In order to fit with the lance, I'm looking for a mech that works well or at least decently, in any era, I.E., 3025, 3050, 3063. In other words, a 3025 mech that has a decent variant upgrade or two. As well as just plain looks good in the lance.

My suggestions:
Archer
Battlemaster
Zeus
Marauder

Think Thunderbolt, 2nd Warhammer, Orion, Zeus, Battlemaster. Also think lighter, Wolverine, Griffin, Enforcer, Ostsol, etc...
You need something to pair with the Warhammer while the other two are their support.

My suggestion: a Wolverine or Shadow Hawk.

I'd say a dragon. It has decent armor and firepower but that bit of extra speed should help. Upgrades to a Grand Dragon or other variant. *I got a weak spot for 60 tonners*

Hurm........ Well you have firepower in the Hammer. and the Stalker is pretty good too. ( I just like the hammer over the Stalker, so lets not start THAT debate!) your missile boat is the Crucy. the only thing I really see lacking ( other than a snow storm when the Hammer & Stalker begin to shoot) is something mobile. If you wanna go light, I would use a Panther. For a Med. maybe a P-hawk or Wolverine or just perchance a Hunchback (original config. for the autocannon). Heavy either a Rifleman or maybe an Orion. but if you really wanna go Assault a Victor or Banshee would fit really good. your lance is heavy in the PPC/missile department but shy of Autocannons/Gauss and Jump/Speed flanking team member. my personal pick would be the P-hawk ( with twin Lg. Lasers) for both the jumping ability, speed and firepower.

How about an Awesome? No ones mention that yet. Thats a pretty good mech in its TRO state, 28 HS and 32 PPC/run heat. And an upgraded awesome should just go up to DHS and stay standard PPCs.
Or just another Warhammer.

You can't go wrong with a Thunderbolt. The three mechs you have are powerful, but a TDR could still improve on the whole. It's a nasty close-in fighter that should give the others a few rounds of firing at optimum range while it engages at point-blank range.
Not that I'd mind a really big AC in the lance. You've got lots of long-range firepower so enemies might decide to fight you at short range. A Hunchback or Victor will make them think a bit about that.

Looks like a top heavy Lyran style approach.
U have plenty of nifty firesupport there, so a big AC carrier might be the way to go to give them some cover. Hunchback, Atlas and Victor here come to mind here.
If u need something speedy, go Grand Dragons, Phawks, Wolverines, plenty of choices around.

T-Bolt would fit in quite well..
Don't want anything that moves 5-8 it doesn't really fit...
a 4-6 heavy would be nice, and the T-Bolt is just an overall excellent mech.

Consider taking an idea from left field, throw in something unexpected like a Catapult, Jagermech, or Goliath. The Urbie would work too. Just throw in a Mech that nobody ever uses, and figure out a way to make it work.
At the very least, it will either A) not be target becuase it is assumed to be useless, thus get into got positions, or B) Get targeted by everything, letting your other mechs get into good positions.
