named after the celtic god of destruction the Carmen
is well suited to its role and name. The Carmen is most
certinaly capable of destroying another mech even after
its
ammo has run out. It can even rely on its huge fists if
necassary. The ghost bear Kahn called for a mech to be
created to command the field and the battle. Its fire power
is geared towards longrange as the mech was designed to
command the battle group and then slowly advance to
crush what was left of the enemy

Nice name there, Cain. We're rapidly running out of celtic mythology names for our mechs

How's this? I tried to use as much of your original fluff as i could..
Also max armour is 307.. not 312..
---
Faced with the need for a Mech that could anchor its second-line battlegroups and bring heavy firepower to bear at long range, Clan Ghost Bear decided that a new Mech was the answer and set its scientists and technicians to the task.
The new Mech also had to be able to present a commanding presence on the battlefield.
Taking its name from the celtic god of destruction the Carmen is able to engage its foe from far with a pair each of ER Large Lasers and LRM-20s. 18 rounds of ammunition and Artemis fire control systems for each of the two large missile racks ensure maximum endurance and accuracy.
Up close, the Carmen can bring 6 devastating medium pulse lasers supported by two ER medium lasers. A volley of 8 Streak SRMs adds to the destruction it can unleash at close range.
The Carmen can also pummel its foes with its massive battlefists should they venture within their grasp.
To help protect the Carmen from advanced systems, its designers equipped with an advanced ECM suite.
All of this equipment is encased within 19.5 tons of armour, making the Carmen one of the most heavily protected mechs on the battlefield.

Uno momento. 1 tiny problem with that fluff. Last time I checked the clans dont believe in physicals with mechs (granted lots has changed and I am behind on books so If it has changed my bad).

They don't like it but they will respond in kind if the IS does so first.
But then again, I have yet to see folks play the Clans as 100% written. Normally you get the power gamers having to be the clan mechs...sorry that is a whole other topic...back to the one at hand.
Nice mech.

Why would it need to? Use the bloody TC it has and BOOM no more center torso or leg...down goes the Atlas.

I would normally agree with you, but it's arguable that a second-line warrior may not make that distinction if his/her life is in danger. Also, increasing contact with the Inner Sphere may change some opinions.
Lastly, this is the Ghost Bears, i dunno why.. but in my opinion if any of the Clans are willing to use physical combat if need be, it always struck me as either Clan Wolf or Clan Ghost Bear...
