In response, the only thing I can say is this:
I believe that about sums up anyone's reaction to seeing this thing lumbering across the battlefield.

Lumbering? It does not move fast enough to lumber. Galumphing maybe.
Might as well build a fortress just park this thing in front.

Use it as a hidden unit. Anyone stumbling on it will be very, very sorry.

Can we say target?
Nice, but given that BT has the vehilce over 100 tons moving slower then molases in January, leave you with a lot of firepower and armor, but no way to do much with it. Hell you might as well scrap the offensive weapons and go with missile or artillery and just keep the thing way back behind your lines.
Now if they allowed for better speeds like say 4-6 or so then capped the speed at the 195/200 ton mark that would be even better, but right now vehicles lose out if they aren't moving fast, given the current level 2 to hit chart for them, and while the level 3 (Max Tech) chart helps, it still doesn't prevent the vehicles from dying with in five turns...that is better then the old average of three turns but given that still isn't good for use of vehicles. Not sure what would be, but anything is better then the current system on vehicles and criticals and hits and what happens. But that is a whole other rant and one that has been beat to death over and over and over again.

I just noticed something: the pricetag.
You could buy TWO COMPANIES of JR7-D Jenners for the price of ONE Demolishacorn. Can you say "Palace Guard"?
Of course, none of this really matters, because this design is just for fun, right?

Yes. The size cost multiplier for something this heavy is truly insane. (cost * 2.53)
Forget the Jenners. You could almost buy two lances of assault 'Mechs for the price of this thing.

Precisely. Actually, I looked at your 200 ton artillery tank, and realized that I'd never made a super heavy tank. Well, that just had to be fixed.

This would be something to surprise your players with if you are feeling very evil one day.

since these are lvl 3 arent the rules for vehicle damage changed giveing vehicles a longer life on the battle field? I have always seen the Super heavy tanks as units that get 3 to 7 medium and light vehicle and mech mixes, That way the enemy cant just concintrate on the SH. Or they can try but at a price.
I think I was really bored on day and made 4 or 5 designs that are super heavys all ment to work together, With good tactics there wasnt much that would get to them. somethign like 12 gauss rifles whould destroy most anything before ti can do to much damage.
Just out of curiosity though. IF and that is a big IF you were going to field these would you put a GREEN crew in it? Or go veteran to elite? If its me the cost alone I think requires a veteran crew at the very least.

Elite. The very best of the very best. Assuming, of course, that you can give up the assault lances you would otherwise be able to buy.

Veteran. This thing is too expensive for a green crew. But I'd put the elite crews in heavy tanks that can't be outrun as easily.

Amazing that it can fire every turn with now heat issues as well.

That's one advantage of vehicles over Mechs... course they are not very good with energy weapons..

It's a design requirement of vehicles, they must be able to fire everything and gain no heat. Hey ralgith, how'd you like if I use one of these against you next time we tangle?
