I'm pretty sure this is my first artillery vehicle. I even designed a new artillery weapon to go with it.
The primary inspiration for the "Slammer" Artillery Battery was the fluff text of the MRM missile system. Particularly the part about making up for inherent inaccuracy with masses of fire. A "wall of fire" as it were.
EDIT: Elaborated on the firing procedure of the "Slammer".
"Slammer" Artillery Battery
Rules level/Era: Level 2/2750
Heat/firing: 10 points
Rounds fired/shot: 5 shells
Mass: 8 tons
Crits: 8 slots
Range: 10 mapsheets
Damage (target hex): 2 points/shell
Damage (splash zone): 1 point/shell
Ammo Load: 10 shots/ton
To-Hit Modifier: +1
Weapon Cost/Unit: 175,000 C-Bills
Ammo Cost/ton: 5,000 C-Bills
Weapon BV: 66
Ammo BV: 8
WV: 30
The Multi-Shot Artillery System, or "Slammer", is different from other conventional artillery pieces in that it fires many smaller shells, instead of a single large one. The MSAS consists of five 105mm cannon barrels, mounted in a rotating configuration above the loader and firing trigger. In preparation to fire, all five barrels are loaded beforehand, with whatever type of ammunition is called for. When the proper firing solution is established, each barrel sequentially rotates into position over the firing mechanism, and is fired in turn. While this rotating-barrel system can project a significant amount of fire, this is offset by a certain degree of inherent inaccuracy.
Note: there are two ways I've thought of to resolve fire from the MSAS.
1: (Simple method) make the To-Hit roll as for any other artillery piece, and allocate the damage in an X-shape, centered on the affected hex.
Example: Player A is firing at Hex Z. He hits. Hex Z takes 6 points of damage, 2 from the "primary" shell, and 4 as splash damage from the secondary shells that landed around Hex Z.
2: (Realistic method) Treat each shell as an independent attack. IE: resolve To-Hit for each shell, scatter each shell if it misses, etc.

Actually, I was going to say that the first one was a good size. Not too slow, not too heavy, not too expensive.
This larger version is slower and too big to get everywhere. And you can almost buy four small ones for the price of the big one.
Still, a 200 tonner would be interesting.
As for the artillery piece. I don't really use artillery, so there's not really anything constructive I could say about it.

I've been thinking about this, and I've come to the conclusion that each vehicle would be used in a different role. The Mk I is a tactical vehicle, able to keep towards the front line and provide quick-response fire support. The Mk II is a strategic weapon, used to level bases, towns, and any other pieces of real-estate that are being particularly troublesome. Mk III was just designed because you wanted to see a 200-tonner, and could only (probably) be used in a fixed position like inside a fire base, or could possibly be used as a mobile "terror weapon" to threaten nearby cities and the like.

Exactly like railway guns. Park one near a cluster of towns, fire a warning barrage or two, and watch the indigs quiver in their sheds.
