lol. 19, you say? Wow. I looked at the 100 ton page, and saw a horde of arrows up top. My first thought was "Erenon is not going to be happy."

And several in other weight classes too
Have fun boys and goils!
Oh, and yes, RATE MY NEW DESIGNS, or kill you I will
Just make the ratings honest and constructive so I can rework them
Oh, wait, the new designs are both based on critisism

Silly question time; how many of you actually use the reviews? I know most of you do, but do you make the suggested changes or just read them and then go on to other things?

It depends on the review. I get a lot of anti-XL reviews so I try to ignore those. If they offered anything other than "XL's suck, this mech will die fast!!" I would look into it more, but alas I see that review a lot. As for suggested changes I do look into making a change but I don't usually submit the changes.

I just did that, actually. There's a review thread about it in design submissions (Shogun). I'm thinking that I'll do it some more.

*Points to all the remakes he's posted based on reviews, and not ALL are of his own original designs*
I do it A LOT! Heh, I've reworked at least 4 of my own designs, 2 of Seraph's and one of someone elses for sure. I've lost track, I've been here awhile after all

One of the reasons that I have as many variations as I do of most of my chassis is because I make adjustments based on other peoples comments. That is one of the reasons I have posted explanations of my criteria for my reviews so that people have a better understanding of where I am coming from.

I take criticism and use it sometimes. I ignore those peoples who tell me to put XL engines in things usually. But other than that I've been known to tweak designs.
However, I'm sold on Bracket combat, while Motown in particular seems sold on Alpha combat, so I ignore SOME of his review advice.

| And that is axatly why it is good to have multiple reviewers a mech that might work well for some tactical philosphys would suck under a differant set.A bracket fighter will hang back and make the enemy come to him being able to hit at all ranges is key ...on the other hand I like to use movement most of my designs are light and just do not have the space for a lot of differing weapons because of the space used gor engines so I optomize for one range bracket (Usualy close) and endevor to stay in that range .Differant strokes for differant folks.

Very very true..
Me i like bracket style.. but i also like tough mechs more than fast mechs. That's why i like Panthers (which Motown always pans )

Agree with what everyone is saying. The large number of new mechs has really surprised me. It's going to be fun checking them out.
On a side note, Seraph: your comments on my 35 tonner really hurt. Without those ER's, I wouldn't be able to overheat by exactly nine to get the best results of the TSM. No matter the situation, all three ER Meds must be fired if any hope of achieving the target heat of 19, otherwise the TSM wouldn't even be necessary. Otherwise I would have used DHS instead. If you meant something else, then I apologize but please tell me what it is otherwise I wouldn't have understood your review.

If anyone can tell me what construction style I seem to prefer, I'd like to hear it!

Munchy:-p With extra cheese.
Well actually, I've seen a decent spread out of you so far. Leaning more towards Kurita Shadow Hawk in 3025 style than anything else from what I've seen.
As for my designs lets see some ratings. As much as I like Mud and Motown in a lot of cases they're my only reviewer.
I did that list up for you the viewers stabbity stab stabbings. I mean for your assistance.
