In my games for various reasons when we're playing upgrades/rebuilt mechs in our matches.

Kabuto KBO-7B

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1448

Designed for a couple of reasons. My dislike for most cannon scout mechs in 3050+. The fact I didn't want to stock 140 standard engine just for the Panther. Also, because I needed an answer for the Javelin/Commando and with good rolling it does okay there. Plus, I decided early on my Cicada variant was going to ER PPC and 7/11. So I did a chart of what size engines 7/11 scout weights were.

Hitman HM-2

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1447

This design, I'll admit doesn't share an engine, and uses weapons that even in a regiment sized force I don't have many of. On the other hand, its a 7/11 scout and if I salvage a 35 tonner moving 6/9 I can fix that. It exists mainly because the Kabuto, Cicada pair needed someone for in close work. Was the 3rd one designed in my scout lance of custom modifications.

Panther PNT-9K

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1429

Its a C3 net Panther, with a bunch of useful upgrades. Shares an engine size with two other size mechs I use frequently. The Kabuto, and the Pferdman are they. The Panther sees a lot of use in my medium (Helios) and heavy (Avatar Omni) C3 lances. Its not a mech that anyone is going to go nuts over, but its a solid anchor in most units.

Panther IIC II

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1757

Designed solely because when I want to be a 2nd line clan warrior for Ghost Bear. Its more an ego trip and work in brackets than anything else.

Pferdman PFB-1K

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1781

I needed an artillery mech. I have a lot of Panthers in my standard To&E. So I took the Panther Chassis I use and just threw on an Arrow IV battery.

My personal use mod throws on the C3 slave for the ER medium. But thats even more corner case. OR, this mech stays the same setup and gets paired with Tag variants of my various scout mechs. It has some flaws but for the same price you can get yourself a Hussar 3025 tech. I like my artillery.

Cicada CDA-3K

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1446

This mech is the star of my scout lance. Sure its not the fastest scout mech ever, but if you want to stop it either you need to throw your scouts to try and stop it, or you need to commit serious resources to the field and that keeps them from hitting me elsewhere.

I'd throw ER Smalls onto this chassis in a heat beat if I had another unit I ever liked that had ER Smalls. But as I do stock standard Small lasers thats why they're there.

Whitworth WTH-2K

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1441

Okay, this design never was any better than average as a C3 Master unit. So I rebuilt it into a new variant. This one is the better of the two in close combat.

Whitworth WTH-3K

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1776

Features a heavier ranged punch and the same general setup as the 2K. Nothing stellar. Just a cheap C3 Master for the Panther lances when I don't want to spend the cash for a Helios mod. Added bonus of sharing engine with Spider Tag Mods.

Blackjack BJ-3

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1772

Was flipping through the Custom TRO and noticed I submitted a Black Jack. Added to this list for completenesses sake.

Shadow Hawk SHD-4K

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1459

This was my main character's ride as a mercenary for the longest time. Went through many incarnations, this is where he ended his career and retired though. Wrote up fluff for it because its good enough/cheap enough for his primary employer to bring the model in as house produced.

Helios HEL-4K

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1471

The primary lance commander for my Panthers. It features heavy armour. Brutal in close firepower and a decent heat curve that lets you bracket fire until you need to run it up.

Crusader CDR-5K

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1774

As good as my standard Archer was doing, I felt I need a new flavour in close. Also, it gives me a different engine I have a reason to stock in a campaign setting so I can fix up salvage easier.

Archer ARC-4K

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1445

I needed something that was absolutely brutal and could be left without an inclose fighter to cover. Yet at the same time still have a decent number of rounds and roughly the same long range potential as the stock Archers.

I think this is as close to perfection as one can get. Well at least till I designed the 5K for a slightly different purpose.

Archer ARC-5K

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1780

Designed to have a better and more ammo filled AMS bins. Plus, giving a better long range profile than my standard Archer. It gives up a lot in close but the Crusader modification, and my other Archer cover a lot of that slack.

Barghast BGS-1K

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1485

Designed more as a what if/test piece. Serves as a defence mech, and or the fourth wheel in the missile support lance. Mostly because, it gives a nice support profile and prevents clan elementals from getting too close while still using an engine I have a lot of cross over on.

Grasshopper 7K GHR-7K
(GHR-7K) Stupid mislable annoys me, but I'll deal.

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1470

My anti aircraft chassis. Cheap, portable. Keeps up with the Panthers, the Archers, the Crusaders, the Barghest, et all. Shares engine with quite a few others, isn't great in combat, but excels in its chosen field of AAA airspace denial.

Stalker STK-8K

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1775

Useful to be part of an Assault lance. It was another what if piece. I've never used it but it does exist and I look it over most times I design a force.

Blood Asp Ward

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1773

A rare clan design for me. More to fool around with the various things. Turned out very well for a bracket mech. Definately not an alpha striker.

Mauler MAL-2R

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1771

This mech does see serious use and when you outfit it properly it turns from the joke it used to be into a servicable assault mech.

Atlas AS7-CM C

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1755

Ralgith and I both seem to agree on this one. My Lance Commander model is much better.

Atlas AS7-CM L

http://www.mordel.net/tro/mech.php?mid=1756

My Lance commander model of the C3 net in an Atlas. I think its better than most Atlases out there. However, I only ever have one usually in a regiment size force as I don't do much in the assault size.

So although I like it I never get to use it much.

Well peoples this is all the mechs I've posted here, I have many more. Mostly for non DCMS stuff, its just lately I'm DCMS incarnate it seems.
