Bureaucracy = German! The system/term was invented in 19th Century Germany. Apparently, these days, German law, regulations and politics make up 60% of the World's written rules and regulations!
Anyhow, yeah, Davion French, European but also American (free, independent, but with a sphere of influence). The FWL is apparently meant to be more something like the balcan states, with a myriad of subgroups.
And yeah, the Steiners are very teutonic!

Warhammer, I love your tank, 2nd edition. With those wonderful 27 tons of armour, and surprising lack of (very) heavy weaponry. And in a straight vs fight, yours would kick mine all the way back to the shed it crawled out of.
However, IMO, mine is undoubtedly more effective against 'mechs. And possibly infantry. Yours is better against tanks and for holding any sort of line.
Now, mine is probably the more Steiner one - they use the Manticore and Rommel/Patton, which is kinda reflected in my design. They also have way too much money to spend. Yours could be a Davion one, influenced by certain elements of Bulldog. Also, Davion forces have been known to use the Behemoth.
Would you be willing to combine forces and write a joint fluff? Something set in 3030 - two 100 ton tanks created by the twin realms in order to symbolise their new strength? Same specs, two design teams, that sort of thing?
I really, really like these tanks, both of them....
On the side note: playing Megamek, I've fallen in love with that old vehicle out of Mechwarrior 1: the Skimmer! Weighing as much as the Savannah Master (5 tons), going almost half as fast again (18/27!!!!), mounting only .5 tons of armour, 1 SL and one Flamer (rear), it costs 57 BV - about a third of the cost of the Savannah Master. It is beautiful!!!!!!!
I tend to use light vehicles in my games, Hunter, Scorpion and Vedette being favourites. The big ones tend to not be worth it.
Just defending myself against people suspecting me to be a munchkin.....

Hmm... a vision... I see an armor battalion... one company of Renault tanks... two of Patton IIs... the Renaults hold the defensive line, making sure nothing gets through... the Patton IIs engage in open battle, recieving support fire from the line of Renaults...
I also see a company of Renaults...keeping enemy forces contained...while lances of Slashers, Pegasi, or Harrassers cut them down...

Add some battlearmour and Yellow Jackets into the mix. Those poor sods won't be forgetting what hit them for a while..

Ah, but this evil plan is forged in ca 3030!
Oh, and I do really like the Slasher, too! Though the Bandit (A or B?) does a similar job....

More calculations:
Battle Value for a mixed battalion - 28,608
Battleforce 2 Point Value for same battalion - 288
