Because the Panther is light and you can't fit a C3 Master on without ripping out the ER PPC that makes it a Panther. As for the C3 on a missile boat, its easier to give up on your LRMs since your going to be in a city fight anyway.

It was my reasoning, just wanted to point it out.

Also I'd love to have some kind of e-mail notificiation when someone rated one of my designs because not sure how long that question has sat there unanswered.

Its heavier, its got plenty more uses. The later variants especially have more fire power (the three SSRM4 version is very tasty)

Plus, the whitty has something the Panther doesn't in my opinion...
