Actually, I know a guy who fits into both the Loonie and Muchkin categories. Downside is that he is our gamemaster....

After reading the comparisons for all the games (most of which I'd never hear of, but that doesn't matter), I have discovered that I'm about 10% "Real Man", 40% "Real Roleplayer", and 50% "Looney".

With just a hint of "Munchkin".

I was once a dedicated Twilight player.

I always had more fun playing the board-game-ish version of it, but the RPG had appeal.

I'm about:
50% roleplayer (OK, we'll set our defensive line here behind the wooden wall, with the claymores out there on the road...)

30% real man (You go on! I got the shot!...Dude, that's a T-80!...I know, I got the fuel tank in my sights!...You have an M203!...Minor technical details!)

15% loonie (Who are you working for? SMACK. Who are you working for? SMACK. Who...ah hell. Smack. Smack. Smack. Smack.)

5% munchkin (Why is it that every time I try to get my hands on a M1A2 the dang thing is out of gas?)

And I want it noted, I got the T-80, thank you very much.

Never played T2K, but from what I know about it I would fall into the category of mostly real role player and looney with about 25% munchkin.

LOL. I was the green beret colonel, but I had a Hummer with a 50 cal on it, not a tank. And we never negociated with the locals for alcohol fuel, our group had the forsight to be equipped with sufficient fuel stills for restocking the fuel.

One guy always picked a Russian UAZ jeep as his personal vehicle. It was a perfect excuse for having incredibly high mechanic skill, as the things need lots of care. You would probably call him loony instead of munchkin.

The electrical systems were primitive, and not all of them were wired like they should be according to the manual. The engine was a fuel hog, but it was reliable. The transmission was a masterpiece, the UAZ just went by where Land Cruisers and 4x4 trucks got stuck. I've never had the pleasure of driving a better jeep.
