After the HD-7s poor reception because of its slow speed and poor heat comtrol
the engineers at Harley-Davidson redesigned the mech putting in a much more
powerfull engine increasing the speed to over 160 kph and adding double heat
sinks loosing someweapon capacity

The Quad configuration gives the HD-9 batter stability than a bi-ped design
making it usefull under icy comditions as its quad layout can keep it from
falling though it can still skid the battery of 5 ER medium lasers cando
significant damage especialy from behind though the mech runs a little hot
==Variants:==
Some units have swaped out the ER lasers for older types to lower the heat
output at the cost of some range
==Deployment==
HD-9s are commonly deployed in artic regions by the ODF and a few are found in
malitia units
