==Overview:==
The Zerk is the brainchild of a grad-student, the final project of his class
on design theory. The theory was that the ship, although slow and thinly
armored, could carry firepower many times that of other warships, in the form
of specialized "drone" aerospace fighters. Though these fighters would be
incapable of "spontaneous" maneuvering that human pilots are able to perform,
they would be able to swarm their targets, using mass numbers to counter their
almost-certain losses.

There are no examples of the Zerk-class carrier currently in existence, and
none are planned to be built.
