At this point in time, with all of the level two options the Clans and Inner Sphere have, do the Clans still have a tactical advantage over the Inner Sphere? Remember to consider items both sides have exclusively, such as C3 networks, ATMs, and heavy lasers.

I believe this till have an advantage, if a slightly reduced one. They still have lighter and more effective lasers and ACs.They may have a reduced advantage, but still an advantage.

Ton for ton, the Clans still have a big advantage. Everything is lighter, longer ranged, and does more damage for the same heat. Better FF armor, endo steel, and XL engines give them more tonnage to play with - and their stuff is lighter to start with. And don't forget that their DHS are smaller; that can make a big difference.
The IS does have a few tech advantages. The RAC/5, HGR, MRM 30, and MRM 40 all have some heavy damage potential, along with specialty AC ammo. Then there's C3 and the specialty LRM/SRM ammo, which I don't think the Clans use.
The Inner Sphere gets more capable as the unit gets larger, while the Clans are at their best in singles or small units. But the Clans still have most of the advantage, especially considering that their pilots are usually better.

ton for ton Clan is still better, everything they have is better, all better quality than the IS.
Of course IS have the numbers and can flatten the clans if they threw everything at them.

I'd like to see someone convince Liao and Marik troops to jump in on this so it could be done...

Damn right! The IS has both a larger industrial base and bigger manpower reserves than all of the Clans combined. If they could just utilize it... _________________ Evil is like a bowl of oranges. if the clans would throw aside the one on one they could REALLY F--- up the IS. the IS will focus all fire from one lance on to one Mech clans don't. the clans will send lighter Machs up against heaver Machs. they could use vehicles more.

If all of the IS adopted a "total war" policy to deal with the Clans, the Clans would be obliterated. Simple as that. _________________ Evil is like a bowl of oranges. By the way, what's so exclusive about Automated Teller Machines? I'd think that ATMs would be all over. _________________ Evil is like a bowl of oranges. Only one, instead, is an orange of DOOM. That orange has a fate to rule over the other oranges with an iron fist. That orange is me.

If I was joking you would see a
I was quite serious. What's the difference between a Tactical Missile and a regular missile system? _________________ Evil is like a bowl of oranges. Only one, instead, is an orange of DOOM. That orange has a fate to rule over the other oranges with an iron fist. That orange is me.

ATMs use a single launcher to fire different kinds of ammo.
There's ER ammo. low damage (same as a LRM) with very good range
Standard ammo. good damage, moderate range (lower than a LRM)
HE ammo (i think that's the right term) plenty of damage, short range.
Each type of ammo must be selected by the ton.
Did i mention it has built in Artemis? I think i didn't...
Edit again: Or that the launcher's heavy compared to normal clan launchers?
