==Overview:==
The Missile Truck is based on a design centuries in age. The simple concept is
for a light-weight vehicle capable of carrying missiles into combat cheaply
and quickly. The unit is small and simplistic enough so that only the driver
is required to operate the machine, although there is just enough cargo room
inside the machine for a passenger (albeit with little gear and room).
==Variants:==
Given the sheer age of the machine, a number of variants are around. The most
common involves replacing the twin LRM 5 racks with twin SRM 4 racks. A more
recent one from the DCMS is an MRM 10 and an SRM 2. Reports from the
Prehiphery indicate models armed with machine guns and rockets.

Hell! Nice techinical found in most Sub-Sahara African nations where they take a truck and mount Recoilless rifles, ATGM, rocket launchers and other weapons on them. Toyotas seem to be the truck of choice.
We had the insurgents in Iraq doing similar things and mounting mortars in them or home made rocket launchers as well.

They probably use Toyotas cause the Korean chaebo's haven't got their claws that far yet... yet... before long insurgents may be using Hyundais or Daewoos...

This would be a good platform for rocket launchers. You don't exactly want to encourage these things to stick around for a long time anyway; any real armor will whack 'em pretty quickly.

Actually, at 13 tons it's closer in size to a small moving van than a Toyota.
I actually based this one off of a generic type of missile truck that I kept seeing on Gundam Seed.
