Okay here is a really far out idea:
The REAL Thomas Marik is running WOB...
Comments?

That's a pretty cool idea! Problem is, no one seems to care about the Free World's League. I would like to see them start kicking some arse!

If memory servers. The FWL is where most of the IS's mech production comes from. Right?
Why would the other houses not care what they do?
But the Idea of Thomas being in charge of the WOB and reclaiming the throne (And now would the time to do it)Which would put the WOB in charge of the FWL (Let's face it. Thomas is not that good of a leader, and would be just a puppet) Is scary.
I think we found the bases for the next few novels, Hopefully before the Dark Age hits

When I said "no one cares" I was refering to us players, not the factions in the game universe...sorry.

OH, Well I care about the FWL. It is the home of the Knights. The only group in the Sphere that the Clans respect for the views of combat.

I doubt that the FWL has the majority of mech production. They simply are able to sell the major portion of their production since they are not at war with anyone save for a few regiments on Star League duty. I would say they make more mechs than any other House, but not more than any two Houses.
However, going by the sourcebooks, I would say that the FWL makes at least half, in not more than 2/3 of all the dropships and jumpships being built in the Inner Sphere. And probably more aerospace fighters the anyone else as well.
For some reason I always leave the "c" out of "prodution".

Nawww.... Tommy Boy is dead.
Besides I don't see him as being in charge of the FLW for a decade just to give it up to an imposter just to do nothing then take over WoB.
Although with the people in charge I wouldn't be suprised.

BAH, I say. The Knights of the Inner Sphere are nothing but a bunch of washed up, yellow-bellied, tree-hugging hippies pretending to be mechwarriors. The whole group should be washing and putting decals on the mechs of the real warriors.

Does anybody remember reading the Cranston Snord's and Rhonda's Irregulars books? A guy I think named Marcus Shake? Scarred up face, no memory, found wearing a Star League uniform? I've always heard that guy is supposed to be the real Thomas Marik. Another dropped plot element, no doubt.
But enough of the 90+ Thomas. Let's hear it you all. VICTOR for CAPTAIN GENERAL! I hear Omi died. But Isis is around and friends with him isn't she? And she's been turned from a fringe character into a major character hasn't she. And she is the real heir of the real Thomas Marik. _________________ "Those who beat their guns into plows will plow for those with guns..." -Thomas Jefferson
