Does anyone here know it the scale for Renegade Legion tank Minis is the same as for BTech?

I believe they are smaller...the hexes are bigger, I will have to check the rule book again to be sure...

Yes, if you could. I was thinking also of buying the game (ebay) so as to get some more fasa maps to use. You think the hexes are drawn larger on the RL?

The hexes are about the same size, but the game treats them differently. Like they are 122 meters arcoss instead of 30.
The game (Centurion) is an excellent game and well worth getting. I use the tanks in the BT and the maps as well an no one has yet to complain.
