Mechs without armor are shut out of areas any old Stinger can go. You can't operate in vacuum and you can't enter water. Believe it or not, that's a serious flaw. I've sometimes had to hide a lone scout mech in deep water just to keep enemy VTOLs or fighters from shooting it up. Just blow bubbles waiting for support, or hoping the enemy runs out of fuel.

I hope you have updated to drawing board 2.0.23 (available from the files section of my site: http://campaign.dubrin.net) cause anything before that is missing some weapons, and has serious bugs.
