Well, my Windows 98 got infected with a virus that my AV missed, or was hacked. Either way 98% of my HD was deleted, so I had to reformat and re-install. Since I was doing that anyways, I upgraded to windows xp pro. So I will not be posting any more custom designs until I can come up with new ones. I just lost about 6 years worth of designs. Oh well, a lot of them are still in my head, plus I have the ones already submitted here that I can re-add to my collection. Anyways, Windows XP Pro is very very nice. But I still prefer my Linux box  Go Mandrake 10.0!!! As soon as I install it anyways hehehe. Running Red Hat 9.0 atm, waiting on a friend to burn the Mandrake CDs.

Well all of my customs have been posted at least once on HMP and a lot are also here and at NSS. Additionally I just sent my custom Aerospace and Mechs to my groups GM to make sure they are backed up, and as soon as I get my mitts on some Floppies I will store them that way too.

hehe...call me old fashioned. I still have all my customs on paper in notebooks. Don't have to worry about comp probs. Just age lol.

| I figure losing all your customs is a good thing. Really. I never converted very many of mine when I switched from TDB to HMP. I recreated a few from memory, but that's it. I see it as an opportunity to play with all those ideas all over again. Otherwise you start to notice too often, "Gee, I already did that one."

ZIP Drive and CD burned. Not A Chance, along with the notes for The Circus, Watcher, Azku, and Homestead Campaigns.

I feel your pain. I recently lost a whole bunch of my custom Mechs, Vees, Aeros, you name it. Fortunately, I had a bunch backed up, sent more off to friends and had my paper notes on some more. It still stinks to have to try to recover them.

The beauty here is pointed out quite well by js.
I had already been running into the "hey, already did this by that name" problem.
I figure I'll wait till next month before I do any serious designing, since I'll be buying HMPlus then.

You have to update to 2.0.23, I have the update patch if ya want it.
