Ok folks, either tomorrow night or saturday I am planning on making the last backup of the database here and porting it all over to the new host. After that is done, I will change the DNS entries to point to the new host. That usually takes 24-72 hours to propogate the changes throughout. I will post a welcome message at the new site. If you see it, you'll know you're there.
What this means is the following:
1) After tonight and friday morning, do not post and reviews or anything of importance, because there is a chance it may get lost if I've already made the backup of the database.
2) Anyone who has my site bookmarked via the IP address will need to change that. Once my site is transferred and the test period is over, I will cancel my current host so the IP will no longer work, period.

As chihawk stated, it will still be http://www.mordel.net. The changes to route that domain name to the new host are all handled in the background. And remember, I'm on a monthly plan with the new host, so if we decide we don't like it (slow server, etc) we can always come back here. I plan on keeping both hosts for the first couple months, just in case. So this one will still be here, but once the name servers have been updated, the only way to access it will be by the IP address.
