Cats are able to fend for themselves. Heck my old tomcat Leo, used to eat grasshoppers and pigeons to supplement his diet. Never was a mouser though....

And "mouses" for that matter too. And if there were, I could gaurantee you my cat would bounce on him in a heartbeat!! _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

You've got to let them out once in a while. For a field trip or something. Havn't you guys ever seen "Born Free" ?

I don't think she'd be the only one... think there'd be two other women in that line...
Actually, I think at least one guy, too...

Last time I saw a mouse (lovingly referred to as "Gerald") in my flat, he was way the hell up op top of the curtain rod... after being scared out of his wits by a 20 pound Maine Coon...
I think our cat has been a very good mouse deterrent... when he's awake, that is...

Out of my three current felines, only one is a mouser. Jem's got 3 notches on his belt buckle already. Go Nova Cats! I just wish he'd eat them so my wife wouldn't freak when she finds them.
