Just curious who has what when it comes to Fighters / Tac. Air / Bombers / ect...and why?
I usualy run about 90% Stingrays with other units scattered here and there, for most everything except bombing. I have found that for what I do it is about the best thing I can have, not to big. not to small and I just LOVE the forepower.
I have a smattering of Corsairs, Lucifers, Vig's, ect too...

I mostly use the Aerospace as a Snow Raven player. I much perfer the White Cloud Sovetskii Soyuz Class Heavy Cruiser, an excellent asset in a naval battle. The White Cloud is one of the primary warships of Clan Snow Raven.
For fighters i'll use almost anything, as long as it is an omni fighter. I am currently working on a Hammerhead IIC that I might post when I finally get my computer working.
Oh yeah, for SHEER coolness factor I like the Sabutai and Sylph

I have not played alot of Aerotech but from what I have I am a fan designs such as the Hellcat, Corsair, Sparrow and Eagle. The Stingray tends to run a bit hot and the style that I am used to playing means the PPC's minimum is a disadvantage. I also have a soft spot for the Kurita Slayer, tho will all the new fuel rules if it has the same late game advantage as it once did.

Never really played Aerotech. The few times we combined aero assets with company battles it was interesting.

I like it. The occasional straffing run is very cool. Not only that, but if you are doing a campaign where you can call on aerospace assets they can actually be HUGELY important in defending your ground forces (as the Snow Ravens discovered).
I played a game where I was a Snow Raven character, and a few of my friends were playing other Clans and Inner Sphere powers. We were all united in going after Periphery pirates. My contribution to the hunt was a warship to transport the dropships and some aerospace help. It was fun.
Raven, who enjoyed teasing the Freebirths on that mission.

Everytime I see an Aircraft coming in for a Stafing Run, I keep thinking of where I put the Giant Fly swatter...

Or, on a more serious note, my SRM-6. those aerospace fighters sure can be vulnerable to a couple of critical hits or control surface hits.

Right, they can, thats why most intelligent folks have close airsupport, arty, and some of the other wonderful 'toys' on the modern battlefield all working together to cover each others weaknesses with strengths
