*A pipe smoking gentleman walks into the bar and grill. The smell of maple cavendish fills the air around him. He knows he's new here, and after being ordered down over at the Heavy Metal Compound he keeps his mouth shut for now.

He walks straight to the bar, takes another long draw from his pipe and packs it down some more, looks up at the barkeep...*

Do you carry MacAllen's?

There isn't anything Mordel can't get.

Looking out the bullet-proof glass window of his office, Mordel sees the new patron sit down at the bar. Knowing that a majority of the people he gets in here are regulars, he pokes his head out and shouts to chihawk, "Give the new guy a few free rounds. Ahhh... heck, let him drink as much as he wants for the evening, on me."

He then looks at the new guy, "Welcome, hope you enjoy the stay. Anything you need you can ask chihawk or myself. I'm very accomodating."

With that, Mordel goes back to the pile of paperwork he has laid out in front of him on his desk.

Cheers mate!

Hey Chihawk, is any one 'round here devout stout drinkers? If so, I can hook this bar up with a supplier for St. Ambrois Oatmeal stout.

The stuff looks like I.C.E. oil when you pour it and makes Guiness taste like water...

Whaddaya say?

Mordel, Word is, there's a new shipment of Transparisteel Mk III. It has the same Bullet Proof Rating as the MK II you have now and it's a thrid as heavy. I hear it also has some Reflectivity also.

Would you like Joe and I to get some and replace Your window.....

Besides I'm killin' to get some for emergency stock...

Fox smiles from his usual spot at the bar, having an AMP after his delivery of the Tri-Vid Connectors. "Sir, I believe you just want some new gadgetry and the chance to charge it to Mordel...not that I blame you. I'd do the same thing."

*Takes another draw of his pipe*

Fox shakes his head. "Not at all. I'm Major Joseph Garbo, Harewood's Harvesters, 17th Recon Battalion. Most call me the Major, or Fox...or Joe, but I tend to be more partial to the first two myself. Basically, I work for Sir Henry, and I'm the gopher around here. If you need something, big or small, I can get it." Fox flashes a predatory grin. "I learned the art of creative aquisition from Sir Henry, so I can get anything you need."

I don't mind either, adds a certain atmosphere to the place. *Gulps down the rest of his Sasparilla* I'm Paul "Slythis" Shepherd I'd tell you my rank but under my current comstar contract I don't have one.

Master Warrent Officer Frederick "Hunter" LeBeau.*extends his hand to the gentlemen that have introduced themselfs to him*

I work for a SpecOps Merc team that does some work for the LAAF. Myself, I'm a combat sniper. Got my rifle with my hover bike outside. She's a high powered beast, does not look to much bigger than a normal rifle, but it scares the bejesus out of mechwarriors when I smack their cockpit (OOC the stats and rules for what i'm talking about will be posted together in the design forum when i iron them out)

Clanners just get down right pissed after the second shot, ha!

I'm on extended R&R, I might tell ya why once I digest the info myself*looks down at his scotch for what seems to be an entire minute, gulos it back, and points into the glass*Chihawk, if you do not mind....

Fox looks stricken. "What tab?" Chihawk hands him a datapad. After pressing the page down button several times, Fox just holds it down, and it still takes some time for it to cycle to the end of the list. "Wow, I had no idea I drank so much AMP."

"Well, that settles it, I'll go out later and get some of this stuff. Exactly how much do we need Sir Henry?"

He turns back to Frederick and shakes his hand. "Mind if I call ya Fred? You a sniper eh? You ever handled a Beckwood S2 AM? All the Harvester ground pounder squad commanders carry'em. Deadly. I could get one of the grunts to bring one to show ya...outside of course...if you want."

This'll take both of us Joe, This stuff may be lighter than the Mk II, but it's still heavy.... Maybe a MT or two....

Mordel, Tab???? Have you ever seen me order a drink here, and not pay cash??? I don't do tabs, if I don't have to.... Because Payback is a B*tch....
