You saw how long it took me to change like as soon as I saw this a coulple of dayes ago I made the change to the one that reflects the real me.  BTW before you guys start dissing the Ice Hellions check the faction ranks for the Martial Olympiad on the Commando web site:

There are a ton of folks not playing in the Martial Olympiad for a variety of reasons...I would put anything into any results you may see.

Hey, I was the only Ice Hellion last year, competeing or otherwise! I've started a trend!  I'm playing Comstar this year to try out the C3i against other players. Or at least, that's my plan if I get a chance to play this year.

O.K. so you are jealous. 
You should know that there is a thread about the Martial Olympiad on HMP. A few weeks back Worktroll informed me that all the rest of the Ice Hellions were counting on me to carry the standard so to speak. So in effect I am their champion.An awsome responsability for one who has been called solahma ,so far I have proved them wrong about that, partially by my performance on behalf of my Clan at the Martial Olympiad where I have proven that being called solahma is a bit premature

If you knew half of what you think you do you'd notice that I haven't made a single post about the Martial Olympiad on HMPro. And it's not due to being jealous, it's due to total contempt for the entire thing.
It is poorly designed and poorly executed.
And as Mordel can attest, I know several of the people that were ranked very high on the scorers list last year and I constantly and consistantly mop the floor with them when they play against me.
In fact, one of them was involved in a game that has been mentioned here numerous times previously...I held off his re-enforced fire lance of 3050 medium & heavy mechs with a prone Archer 2K with an engine hit!!!! What a great player he is.
Some of the best players I've met aren't playing, and I'd bet large sums of cash that any one of those guys would easily defeat anyone on that winners list.

There was a time chihawk could've contended or beaten almost anybody. He doesn't play much anymore so I almost always beat him when we do. And I'm only an average player. I like the blood too much and rush into battle.
In any case, I have also played against some of the people that were on that list and fairly high up it too. It's sort of scary. Makes me wonder where all the really good players are! Well, I know two of them who don't even play anymore.
Now, I'm not saying everyone that plays that is a bad player. I'm just saying people need to check themselves when they are near the top there. Because being near the top of a field of mostly average players isn't something to be too excited about.

If I played as much as I used to I'd still be great.
Right now I'd rate myself as just being "above average"....maybe someday I'll get back to playing a lot and start kicking everyone's ass again.

chihawk I cannot say how I would compair to you but in a Solaris league I was in about 5 years ago I dominated the light mech division with a 10-2 record in a Jenner JRF-7F and two of those kills were MEDIUMS ! an assassin and an enforcer while I do claim to be the greatest player I am well up there the VooDoo Crew is an old well established group that has an old and stable core and turns out skilled fighters I would love to meet you or anybody else out there especialy if you are good I like a challenge.be advised I do more than just talk the talk.Talk is cheap .
