Most of the hurdles have been cleared, so very soon I'll be looking for players. Potential players must be able to answer e-mails for Wednesday and Saturday deadlines. This will be a game for 16 players, with currently 12 slots available.
The 4 "filled" slots are going to Camping Carl, Mordel, Pinhead, and Pinhead's son Chris. If any of these 4 decides not to play then that open slot will be filled by another player.
When I ask for players priority will be going to people that post on this board and that have not played Maximus in a convention setting. After that it'll be posters here that have played at conventions; and then I'll be going to my regular PBeM list.

I think to make this a true Circus Maximus flavored game, that all contestants must run a greek mythology named mech. Some that come to mind: Vulcan, Griffon, Atlas, Hermes, Hermes II, Gladiator (Clan, or old Battletechnology IS), Cyclops, Perseus.......

No it was from "Gladiator", although it might have been in SST, I don't really know.
