Hmm...I will consider anime in a totally different category myself...
Now, in no particular order
If I could go to fifteen, I would add:
Alien, Aliens and Alien Resurrection
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
the Devil's Advocate
the first and last two Highlander movies (yes...I LIKED Highlander Endgame)
Mel Gibson's Hamlet
For anime, it would be:
Princess Mononoke
Macross: Do You Remember Love?
Char's Counterattack
Jin Roh the Wolf Brigade
My Youth in Arcadia
Galaxy Express 999
Adieu Galaxy Express 999 (guess no one can tell who one of my fav storytellers is, can they? )
Armitage the Third Polymatrix
Wings of Honneimmease (ok...I know I got the spelling wrong)
Megazone 23 Part 2

Lord of the Rings
A Fish Called Wanda
Aliens

It's kewl to see the overlap of people's favs. Some that I would have loved to put in my list (had I not limited it to ten, myself) would be:
Aliens
Blade Runner
Fish Called Wanda
Gladiator
Highlander
Glory
The Longest Day
A Bridge too Far
I guess us gamer types have similar tastes.

I always feel like the Oddball.
In no order, and likely to change whenever the whim strikes:
Joe Dirt
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
Finding Nemo
Bruce Almighty
The Hunt for Red October
Die Hard 1
Die Hard 2
Die Hard 3
The Princess Bride
Scary Movie (Either one)
Honorable Mention:
Goldeneye
Harry Potter Movies (Still like the book better, but the movies are good for what they are.)
12 Angry Men

Damn, I knew I forgot some movies, old age. But that is also the mood thing. For jsut a great cool movie, Highlander. For deep emotion, honor and scary ass combat, Glory, use to my top movie but I have not seen it in some time. A Bridge to Far...... poor Poles get screwed in more way than one.
AWAD- WWII final in college, who lost more due to WWII, the Brits or the Poles..... and why?

Resurrection? Really? I never really liked that one. Nothing against the acting or special effects, which were good, but dangit, Ellen Ripley died at the end of the third movie! She may have been one of the best characters in all moviedom, IMNSHO, but when a character dies in a dramatic scene to rid the universe of a vile monster, they should not come back like one of those punch-me clowns.
Sorry, I'm a bit obsessed. I even refer to them as 'The Alien Trilogy, and the fourth one.' _________________ "A man who does not speak his own words, does not think his own thoughts." -me

It was pretty cool. Technoligically flawless, but my biggest problem was it tried cattering to the masses, and not to Final Fantasy fans.
Overall it was decent I could have easily done without the Final Fantasy name...hmm, kinda reminds me of about 5 games Square released in America under the title Final Fantasy, when in Japan they were completely different 'series.
