Type/Model: Sheridan MK I
Tech: Inner Sphere / 3060
Config: Wheeled Vehicle
Rules: Level 3, Standard design
Mass: 30 tons
Power Plant: 100 Hermes Fusion
Cruise Speed: 43.2 km/h
Maximum Speed: 64.8 km/h
Armor Type: Standard
Armament:
1 SRM 4
1 LB 10-X AC
Manufacturer: (Unknown)
Location: (Unknown)
Communications System: (Unknown)
Targeting & Tracking System: (Unknown)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
==Overview:==
Intended as a light, cheap, tank-killer. The SRM 4 allows it to quickly tea
into light vehicles, while the LB-10X gives it punch against battle armor,
infantry, and heavier vehicles. While some may scoff at the cost of a fusio
engine on a vehicle of this nature, not many in the field complain.
==Variants:==
Vehicle has proven to be surprisingly versatile; the weapons load-outs can
easily altered

I see no need to alter the weaponry. This would be a fine tank for a combined forces commander. Any opposition will have to think carefully on what to target first, the nasty AC-10 tanks or the battlemechs.

Speed is the only thing that I see as a major weakness of this vehicle, still it is enough to get it where it needs to go. Armor could definately be thicker, especially for a fusion engine vechile, but hey, you cannot have everything.

Might want to remove that trailer hitch, as you're a ton over. Otherwise, kinda nifty ... like a Scorpion tank with real funding. Mind you, my oldness shows up as I go "Fusion? On a tank? Gah!" ... then I realize that it's a LIGHT tank, and go "Double GAH!:
As a concept tank, I lurve it, but I don't think that it'd have a long lifespan. Valuable fusion engines are for stripping and reprocessing, and are left vulnerable by the ouch-worthy combination of thin armor and slow speed.
I'll throw a 'C' at this one, with the design earning a respectable 'B', but the usefulness and lifespan a 'D' ... You can juuust about snag a Po for the cost, matching the firepower and speed, but with *scads* more armored lifespan.
