I just got back from seeing this movie...IT'S EVEN BETTER THAN THE FIRST!
This was a great film, and sets the stage up well for X-Men 3...as has been hinted in interviews, the cast were able to have alot more fun in this movie, and the action is superb...from Nightcrawler's opening fight scene (shows just how dangerous a teleporter can be), to Mystique giving some guards the finger after she trashes them and slides through a closing guard door, to the final scenes, this is a movie you don't want to miss, particularly if you're a fan of the X-Men...
I won't say anything else about the movie, but you just KNOW what the next movie's going to be about...I just hope Hollywood doesn't do to this what they did to Batman in the third of his movies (ie, make it alot more lighthearted and such)...because the likely (read obvious) subject matter of the third one deserves alot more seriousness than what Batman Forever received...

I second Ruger's motion on this move, EXCELLENT! is the word that comes to mind.

agreed, not on a LOTR scale, but better then almost every movie released this year.
