Celebrity endorsement! Now let's say you went to a con and some hired Hollywood prettyboy (or girl) was walking around trying to get people into the game. Who would you choose?

If I'm trying to get more people in general into the game than probably Mel Gibson or Russell Crow. But honestly, I'd be happier if Angelina Jolie or Catherine Zeta-Jones was there.

Vin Diesel sitting down at the table stomping somebody with an assault mech, that's the ticket. "Bald tough famous guy plays Btech"

Any of the female celebs you listed would be a drawcard.....

As for guys, Bruce Campbell, Brendan Fraser, Russell Crow, Denzel Washington, and a few others would be great.

Huh....I just watched "Remember the Titans" yesterday, and Washington does seem like a good choice for that for some weird reason.

I think Brendan would be the best choice. Possiblily even Johnny Depp.

The only problem is it would cost way to much to get any of them to endorse it (unless they are currentely fans and want to see the game grow).

Agreed. I can really picture him as a Davion or Mercenary 'Mechwarrior. Vin is good too, come to that. He has the right haircut for a Neurohelmet.

This isn't a serious idea, so assume cost isn't an issue.

Wow, I didn't think there would be so much support for Vin Diesel. I like his action flicks as much as the next guy, but I can't really see him playing Btech.

Well, if we wanted someone to play an opposing force at the con then how about Tommy Lee Jones. That could be fun.

I don't know if Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer should be a villain or a good guy, but put him in there somewhere.
