I know France sucks, but, really. Freedom Fries, and Freedom Toast? That's a little kooky if you ask me? Although you didn't, so I'll just shut-up.

The same ideas were presented about food of German origin during WW I, IIRC. It's just some kook trying to get attention. The French will know there's trouble when the Statue of Liberty is sent back...

Funny you should mention that as myself and a few other coworkers were discussing just that idea yesterday. Naturally we were simply joking about it as we know it would never happen. I mentioned we should put up a newer sophisticated version. One that greets boats as they pass her.

Hey Mordel, wouldn't your new sophisticated Statue of Welcome have to swim out to greet the travellers?
(I'm hanging out here tonight to see how the cool people make bulletin boards without going to EZBoard or something. I gotta admit, MordelBB is pretty cool.)

Well, I just took phpBB and made a lot of enhancements to it. Thus the name "MordelBB", with all the disclaimers to phpBB still in tact for copyright purposes.
