As some of you may remember, I modified a lot of 'Mechs of 3025 that were shortchanged due to the use of a standard 'Mech construction template to bring them more in line with how they should be and reduce many of the chronic flaws of these designs, flaws, I repeat that were due to the arbitrary nature of the construction rules and not design flaws.

I have all the designs done on paper, and use them in my homepages, but I haven't the time to put them into html, and much less to write the reasoning behind the modifications.

Since this customized Readout worked very well in my games, I thought at the very least I'd share the game stats. But to do this I need your help.

Anybody willing to help, would get the "construction kit", that is the HTML template I used to present the designs, and the notes that indicate the modifications from the standard template. You just have to fill in the blanks, send it to me so I can upload it to the page, and you will get something that is readable and printable for use in your games

As it stands, whenever I need a modified version, I just make the changes with a pen on the standard record sheet. The HTML file can also be printed and used. It would be really neat if somebody had figured a way of doing your own 'Mech record sheets.

Any takers? At present I stopped at the Assasin and I think the modified designs amount to a dozen or so more.

If you are interested, reply to this message, or mail me at

siniestro@eresmas.net

Thanks for your time.

Oh, btw, the URL for the readout is

I have more than one "excuse"...

1) I'm lazy
2) I don't care about that project at all
3) I'm supposed to be entering mechs for your TRO when I have the time
4) Writting columns for 4 seperate hockey site (which I get paid for )

Well, if you don't care why the hell you post something?

This was meant for people that liked the idea and had seen the designs, and would like to see more of it.

If you don't have anything better to say than silence, then don't say anything.

*grumble*

Read the post I replied to, it should be easy as I quoted it in my post. You'll note that is answers Mordel's post about what my "excuse" for not helping you is.

I presume you'll be giving Mordel an equal amount of crap for posting that he won't be helping? Probably not I'd bet.

Whatever, saying "I don't care" comes across as rude, specially considering all the work and thought that is put into this. I don't knock down other's people posts. If you are not interested, then just ignore the thread.

Mordel's post was appreciative, even if he said he was not interested if nothing else I would thank him for at least taking the time to read the post.

Your post came across as "I don't give a damn", just wanted to point that out, I'll grant you that you didn't express yourself well, or that it was directed at Mordel and not me.

I don't give a damn. None what so ever. And that was my reply to Mordel.

To make it obvious that my reply was to Mordel to either threaded or flat viewers I quoted the entire text of his reply to you, a reply that included my name.

Guys, chill.

What does this entail, Vamp. How long is the Time frame on it. I'll help if I can, but my HTML experience is Small. Just a few pages.

Someone here had an Application that took your entries and formatted in HTML. I don't remember who.....

No worries, Sir Henry, it's just that chihawk gets grouchy with old age as a side note, the quality of service in the B&G has deteriotated lately

I have already the templates in HTML, you only have to open it with a webpage composer edit and type in the same text in the table cells as in the stats of 3025 with the changes I have introduced, of course. Nothing more. The link I included shows the format I use.

Simple, isn't it?

You know what they say Vamp, it's tough to find good help these days. Either you bring in the grissly veteran who is too stubborn to change his ways, or you bring in the youth, who is too stupid to know anything useful. Such is life as a prominent business owner.
