Hello All,
With Mordel's blessing I am starting a new project. I've done one in the past and will be putting parts on my website soon for those interested to look at. It is going to be a Scenerio/Sourcebook based on the Characters and exploits (and possible future exploits) of those who frequent our favorite hangout: Mordel's B&G. It will be loosly based on the layout/format of FASAs earlier sourcebooks such as "Grey Death Legion" and "Cranston Snord's Irregulars".

So the question I'm putting out to all posters is: Do you want your Character involved? If so LMK. Either here or by PM. I'll need a somewhat detailed account of your Character's statistics, faction, Mech, personality, exploits, tactics and the such.

This work is in no way inteded for profit. It will be done for my own personal use and for the enjoyment of you all and the BTech gaming community at large. It will in final form be available as an online/downloadable document. As I am writing/editing it I will have final responsability for it's actual content. I have informed Mordel that I will submit a copy for him to review before it becomes published/public.

I will in no way attempt to embarrass/diminish/put down/or in any other way negatively represent anyone's characters (if you feel your character has a flaw/s & quirk/s and want to share it, that's fine.)It is inteded to create a snapshot of the colorful characters interacting here at the B&G.

The actual scenerios I create for the game will be based on peoples exploits, and many as concievable exploits taking place at Mordel's and on Solaris7 in general. (Hey there might even be a Monkey battle!!)

So that's about it in a nutshell. Let me know, as I plan on having it completed by the end of March or April.

Just curious, but how will flagrant violations of the existing rules and a load of homebrew rules translate? I've been considering an alternate continuity (pre- Illusions of Victory) fan arc for my character, but to do what I want with him will mean ignoring a few of the rules.

I'm pretty sure I'll be having the sourcebook take place around 3063 to3065. Your Character will be written up as a MechWarrior 3rd Ed. and basically level 2 tech will be used for the scenerios. Possibly some level 3 tech...posssibly. Overall it should fit into the Cannon timeline.

A short personal history would be good, especially how it leads up to making your way to the Solaris7 and the Bar & Grill. If you're currently part of a unit then that info would be appropriate.

If your Character has reasonable ability to manufacture or customize LAMs, than go right ahead! Although they are now level 3 and I may or may not be using anything/somethings level 3.
