number of units did you ever used in a
single battle,and how long it last?

About 4 mixed companies of Mechs, tanks and infantry vs. a couple of clan trinaries. There were a total of three players, one Ghost Bear and the other two of us played a joint Kurita and Marik attack force, it was the next operation after Bulldog, target of this attack was the Bears.
It took us the better part of day to play it out, we had a good 16 mapsheets laid out, it was a blast.

I was the GM, the PCs were running a Battalion of Mechs with about a company of infantry and vehicle support vs.... a mech regiment. Took 4 days. We played about 12 hours a day. The battlefield was a scrap yard. The PCs were defending a star port, had better skills, also some hero points, and the fact the GM was sometimes harried to move mechs. Big fun though, and the PC battalion was less than a company left over. All but 1 vehicle destroyed, and 2 platoons still kicking.
AWAD- Screw it, that whole Company runs straight forward

Another large battle that I have fought, not the largest see above, was a clan Trinary vs. a clan Supernova Binary. We played two or three hours for a good 4 nights to finish that battle.
