That is (or was )a heated debate in my group.
Some argue that it fires just like any other weapon. So it could be fired. But others (Me included) agrue that you cannot weapons with it. Which way most of them are in light and mediums with a high movement or MASC. or a Assult mech that can take a round a fire.

The only time I have ever used art. is when a IS Dropships (6 of them)Tried to invade one of my garrisons. I only had a star of light mech and 100 vehicles on world.

I used the mechs to spot for the vehicles. I destoried 2 dropships and routed the invasion with it.

The rules for TAG are very clear....you cannot fire any other weapons when using TAG.

Hence the debate. And why my group broke up. The book rules and the house rules. did not match.

I am of the opinion that house rules MUST be agreed on before the game begins. Once it does the BMR is the rulebook, no exceptions.

Agreed. And if I lived up near yall. I would have other choices beside a bunch of bickering old maids.

I mean they made me a Khan after one battle. So now I am looking for a more down to earth group. That plays clan. Not an easy task. I may have to switch to IS just to play.
