And here we see the lasting effects of roughly 50+ years of general stagnation followed by a collapsed economy.
At one time, Russia had us beat in the Space Race. Now, they can't even launch a satelite and are sending private individuals into space just to keep financially sound.
Maybe the Russians just need some American experience to go over and help them out some.
