Oh, it's not a problem. It's completely understandable. As I said, in my earlier post, it'd be insane to even try to represent half of the factions so it make sense.

Nahh... our resident Bartender has a bit of a temper. He gets sick of answering that question. of course, he has to now since I stopped answering it. 
To be honest, I would've had more factions up already, but my scanner died a couple months ago. I asked Santa for a new one, so now I have to wait until Christmas to find out if I was good or bad. I wanted to buy one this weekend and my SO said not to. So I'm taking that as a hint. And just because I might get a new scanner for Christmas, don't expect new factions right away. I'm closing on my house and buying another one on December 27th, UGH! So, the first month after the holidays will be spent getting the new house up to standard.
Oh, and welcome Ghost Writer. Always glad to see another new face.

Mordel, Once I get settled in to my new place just after Christmas, I'd be more than happy to scan the FedCom, AFFS and LCAF insignia in for you and send them to you. If I had know that that was the hold up, I would have offered a long time ago.

Classic BattleTech has the Unit logos and such, but they don't have the Rank Insignias. Unless I'm missing them.

I just looked in the SOurce Book Archives, and of the Factions that you are missing, they only have HOuse Davion's Full book. Which I'm in the process of downloading now. Though I do have all the House books in hard copy.

Unfortunately I am unable to find a way to cut out or copy the rank pictures out of the .pdf file.
So they will need to be scanned.

Try this:
Load up the relevant page.
Hit Alt+print screen.
Load up a graphics program, IE Paint or what have you.
Hit Ctrl+V, or right click and Paste, or whatever. The screenshot should load into the program.
From that point grab the bits and pieces you need, and save them to new files.
This should work.

Cool, thanks I'll have to try that later today when I get home from work.
EDIT:
Well itt turns out I don;t need to go into work today afterall. So I just tried taking a screen shot, usin ALT-Print Screen and nothing. It didn't work. I have Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0. Any other ideas, short of pulling out my scanner now?

Ah, percussive maintenance. Works fairly often.
Well, if alt+prntscr doesn't work (odd!) you could go to downloads.com and search for 'screenshots'.
Try to find a program with a decent rating that'll allow you to grab screenshots. They're usually little things that work in the background and hide on the tray. They tend to work off of some obscure key combination. Simply make the screenshot, and paste into the graphical program of choice. Then copy n paste the various bits n pieces you really need.
If that still doesn't work, I guess it'd be time to grab your scanner.
Not sure why the print screen didn't work. It should, you tend to only need those screenshot programs for games and the like.

If it's a web site, just right click on it and do a 'Save Target as...'
That should also work...
