Anyone know what the MSRP is for it? I got one today and it was a lot cheaper than I thought it was going to be.

IIRC I thought I saw it for about $60 or $70 regular Retail about a month ago. But I jsut checked out a couple of sites and it is listed at $40. I got mine for $30 when I pre-ordered it Saturday, and I should get it in a day or two. (I had to order it online, no real good places for such things near by, plus I'm a member of Replay Rewards, and it was a special triple point Saturday)

Those prices for DVD? Cheapest I saw online was in the low $50 range....and I paid significantly less than that (less that what I beleive wholesale cost would be).

Yeap, DVD empire has it listed at $40 regular, and $30 right now. Suncoast has it at $29.95, not sure what they are gonna charge regular price wise. I can't remember where or when exactly I saw regular prices 60 or 70 dollars.

I'm talking about the collector's set, with the bookends...Suncoast has the set without the bookends for $29.95.
Suncoast lists the set with the bookends at a MSRP as $79.95 (which was the info I was really looking for )and their price was $69.95. DVD empire has it at $59.95.
I'm guessing looking at those prices that wholesale cost was in the $42-46 range...I paid $32.99 for mine.

There are 2 sets available. One has 4 DVD's and a free ticket to The Two Towers. I picked it up for $25. The other is a box set that has 5 DVD's, 2 bookends, trading cards, and the above mentioned ticket. It was on sale for $50.
