Ironhand walks into the bar, orders a bourbon and coke...(that's old bourbon, Mister!) Taking his drink, he turns to the crowd, glass raised high, "A toast to the House Steiner". His other hand on his sidearm, he winks to the crowd and downs the entire drink in one gulp. Wiping his mouth with his uniform sleeve, he laughs and says," Hello folks, it's been a long time."

Lurch switches the sidearm for a straw when the Lyran comes in. The Major's Silver Sunburst glints as he salutes the clueless newcomer.
OOC: No weapons newbie. Gotta use your mind.

Noticing that Lurch had switched Ironhand's sidearm for a straw, Horhiro chuckles as the MechWarrior places his hand over a familiar defense mechanism. The toast to Lyrans almost makes him laugh out loud, but struggling he manages to keep it in.

"it seems that very few of this crowd has the grace of the Major Garbo when it comes to introductions." seers Ironhand,"I see that most of you dont know the difference between newbies and newcomers."
Ironhand tips the bartender and takes another drink.

"i see that our distinguished gentleman is better dressed than he is at manners." laughs Ironhand, "It's easy to insult in a place of peace, with protection from the outside world. It is obvious that mister henry is not a traveler of the world. Looks like an armchair mechjockey to me." _________________ Steiner Forever!

The Major walks over to give a more proper introduction. "Hello Ironhand, I'm the Major. Everybody calls me that. I'm with Harewood's Harvesters, of the Fed Suns, and you are with?"

"Hello Major," greets Ironhand, his chromed cyberhand gripping the Major's hand, "Very nice to meet you. I am with the Lyran Guard's 10th Regiment, 4th Heavy Mech Battalion on Hesperus II. Nice planet, bad weather!" he laughs with a wink."let me buy you a drink." _________________ Steiner Forever!

*looks at his cyber hand and laughs, without really meaning too*
i raise your cyber hand, with my own cyber left hand AND a cybernetic right arm.
*grins, showing off his cybernetic arm that starts at 3 inch's above the elbow. the lights of the bar glinting of the metal bracing over his left eye and cheek*
as you can see, i hold the market on cybernetic implants in this bar.
*sips his tea*
and by the way, my names Vagabond... referee of this here stablishment. so keep it civil, and watch your actions... else i might have to blow my whistle.
the older clientel enjoy a good verble hazzing, its tradition. seen as your first impression was, well to be honest, under thought and over armed... you made yourself an easy target.
so, have a drink... never enter the kitchen, and if you feel like your being watched, thats just our local clan waco Talen plugged into the servalience system again. chihawks the bartender and XO of this bar, mordel... whenever he can climb out of the paperwork... is the CO and has all the rights.
so, go watch the holovid on the rules of the bar and grill... and enjoy your stay.
*turns back to his conversation*

The Major nods. "Thank you. Anyway, our resident referee forgot to mention Lurch..." The Major points over to the 12 ft, 500 lbs elemental standing near the door. "He's the bouncer here and doesn't let in anyone with weapons. Never cross him. I can't stress that enough. He's kind taciturn though, so I wouldn't bother tryin' to strike up conversation." The Major turns back. "Hesperus eh? I can't say I've ever been there. Been to Defiance though and that is some nasty weather..." He takes his seat again at the bar.
