Okay a big what if...
What if the Skye area of the Lyran Commonwealth actually did manage to gain it's independance from the LC, what would happen?
Would it be attacked by Kurtia or the Lyrans? Or would Marik come charging in to try and take it?
Or would it be able to do some kind of deal that ends up allowing it to exist like the FRR?

Before the 4th Succesion...or in 3034 or during the First Rebellion that had them fighting on the GDL's landhold or the most recent one during the Civil War...or say in 3075 or so as a future what if for the sake of the topic.

I don't think Marik wants it. That house has enough trouble with seccsionist feelings. Most likely, the LC/LAAF will roll in and take a few years to pacify it. During that time, Kurita and (especially) the Clans will raid continuosly. Marik might, if they can get their act together long enough to plan one.
