I just got a heads-up that Pepsodent has contracted with Funskool of India- a legitimate Hasbro sub-liscencee- to produce ten figures for a special promotion.
Each figure will most likely be mail-order, and will come banded to a card and with one weapon. However, to keep prices down, the figures will have reduced articulation- only the shoulders, neck, and thighs will be articulated.
The ten figures are as follows; all of them are repaints of the 2000 molds:
Gen. Hawk, Dial-Tone, Law, Dusty, Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow, Cobra Commander, Undertow, Firefly, Baroness/Chemeleon (I'm not sure what they'll be calling her since Hasbro got the name back).
www.smalljoes.com is supposed to be taking pre-orders for a pack with one of each.

When did they lose the name for Baroness?

They breifly lost it in 1999/2000 becuase they weren't paying attention to it- that's also the same reason why we got 'Doubleblast' in 2001 instead of Roadblock. Scuttlebutt is that 'Baroness' was taken over for those years by a company making 'adult' action figures.

Interesting...I am looking forward to the new comic book that they are relaseing here soon if it isn't already out...Larry Hama is doing most of the art and all of the story and this time it seems that the silly kiddy stuff is gone or at least toned down a lot.

Which one? Frontlines? That should be out either this month or next.
You really need to join me on Devil's Due. The address is www.devilsdue.net. I'm in the forums under the callsign 'Skyfire.' Even if some don't like me, most of the Joe regulars know me.

Just so I know-
There's a bit of a mod shortage there so yours truly is (unofficially and of his own initiative) kinda helping keep the peace. Are you going to take a similar stance or are you going to play neutral?
Either way, I'd kinda like to know what callsign you're looking at using.

Odds are I will log in with the same name as here...as my stance...I am so far behind on the going ons with in Joe universe and such that I really have no stance...most of my info comes from the Marvel Comics and the cartoons (first one, the one with the weather domanator and then the one with cubes...as well as the daily cartoons) even then I am very rusty on who's who and what's what...
