How long do you folks think this will last now that the Civil War in the Fed-Com is over?
Or will this be the saving grace of the CapCon?

The CC is past the point where it can stand on its own, but Sonny Boy won't dissolve it himself because why waste his troops when he can use the Canopians' and Taurians'? He'll use the alliance to its fullest. If and when the Alliance does fail, it will prolly be the Concordant or Magistracy wanting out. And that will probably launch some heavy raiding or maybe even an invasion by CCAF.
On the other hand, Sonny may just let'em go. After he's got what he wants, they may not be worth the supplies he'd expend attempting to subdue them.
Or that's my prediction, based on my attempts to put myself in Sun-Tzu's shoes.

I haven't been reading the novels lately.
What is the Trinity Alliance, and in which book(s) is it covered?

The Cappllean Solution novels and I believe a couple before that cover it.
Basically it's teh CC, MC and TC all allied together, happen around the time Sun-Tzu was First Lord.

The Trinity Alliance will last only as long as Sun-Tzu wants it to. When they start asking too many questions about his use of their troops, he'll attack with some made up reason. And he'll have convinced some of those same troops to fight for him.
