I like it except for when you close to use the sword the PPC gets under minimum range. Perhaps an ERPPC or another LLaser instead?

I like it. I think that you might want to switch the PPC for a LLas or some MLas. Either way, the extra tonnage can be used for heatsinks or armor. And since you have to get close to use the Sword anyhow, the extra punch of the MLas can shred'em.
