Remember how you posted a while back that you got about $250 worth of 7th Sea gaming material for under $50?
I know how you feel now that the stuff I won the bidding on from Gamer's Union a week or so ago has come in...
Not including shipping, I got more than $120 worth of Renegade Legion gaming books and boxed sets for under $30...
Of course, shipping for it all was nearly $15 by itself, so the deal didn't turn out QUITE as sweet as yours, but still...
Looks like I have some reading to do as well...

Hey Ruger,
Did you get any Hex-maps with that stuff? If so, how does the scale compare with the BTech maps?

The scale in RengLeg is 122 meters per hex.

What I meant was:
Is the size of the hexes on the map for RL the same as the size of the hexes on BTech maps?
PS. And if so would you like to barter for them?

Got two maps in the second edition boxed set (along with 36 plastic grav tanks )...haven't put them side to side with BTech ones, but they look about the same size...the difference is in the layout of the terrain...there are multiple levels in the same hex when dealing with hills for example...
And nope...not interested in trades for them...
You'll have to wait for map set 7 for new maps (9 of them! Ten if you count the fact that they form one huge map together)...

I've used RL maps in scenarios you've played Horhiro

The work, the hexes are a little bit bigger but not that much.

Any Idea what this map set is going to entail for terrain? What's the scheduled release date?

If you didn't play in them then they ran next to your's at Total within the last couple years...the hexes are very close, close enough where many wouldn't notice.

Very true, I have tossed the RenLeg maps into games from time to time for a change of pace and all.
