Overview:
    In 3046 Sho-sa Frederic Takama of the 7th Pesht Regulars ended up with a prize cause of his
    unit seizing a pirat dropship that did make a forced landing on Land's End. Similar to S. L.
    Lewis he ended up with a load of 200 lightweight 45-rated standard fusion engines. Just like
    Lewis Takama decided not to sell these but to put them to use. But instead of founding his
    own enterprize he used his personal connections with the CEO of Abagnar Rotorwing
    Manufacturing to negotiate a deal. The company would use his engine for a new design and
    Takama would get a share of every sold unit.
    Abagnar Rotorwing Manufacturing had just ventured from civil VTOLs to military grade ones
    with their Gale Transport Helicopter and was eager to expand on that. With no experience in
    fusion powered helicopters the company collaborated with the Abagnar Technical University
    and the maintenance and repair crews of the Metal Ant Regiment to design a small and
    exeptioally fast VTOL: The Firebee Light Strike Helicopter.

Capabilities:
    Similar to the Savannah Master hovercraft the Firebee was designed to overcome its enemies
    by superior manouverability to strike from behind.
    With only a ton of armor speed is its main defense.
    A reliable Blankenburg medium laser delivers solid punch for a unit this tiny.

Deployment:
    The Firebee serves with the Nirasaki Guards Infantry Regiment, a part of the Metal Ants
    roster, and the Abagnar militia. A company worth of Firebees were purchased by the 7th Pesht
    Regulars on Land's End.
    Selling to nearby militias are ongoing. As the stockpile of 45-rated fusion engines dwindled
    Abagnar Rotorwing Manufacturing now are opting for the purchase of Nimakachi 45 engines to
    keep production of the Firebee up.

Variants:
    The tiny VTOL has only very limited room for modifications.
    Notably field refits include a recon variant trading the laser for a recon camera and an
    armored searchlight. Another one carrys a TAG instead.
    From 3063 on serial production now uses a Blankenburg 511ER medium laser.
