Overview:
Used by the Word of Blake, the TDk-7W underwent a rather extensive Refit process. The
result however is a terror at medium ranges.
Capabilities:
There are 2 major modifications in this refit. The first is the upgrade to double heat
sinks. Lots of mechs have gone through this process, but its still a pain in the butt to
get done.
The second change was the rearrangement of the weapons. Guass rifles were replaced with
RACs, or a massive targeting computer. Those refits were not too bad. Its refitting the
empty arm to accept an entire rather heavy weapons package that took up all the time. In
the end they were rebuilt as mirror images of the other arm. Removal of the lower actuators
helped simplify this refit.

Not likely. its already filled with stuff at 3/5 XL. Jumping to a 400XL engine requires 18 tons to be found. Only way that's going to be found is to cut into its dakka and armor.
I also don't feel the need for more speed with this type of unit. Rare is the map where you' can't drop the LOS to less then 15 hexes while you work on getting closer. And once you do get within range, I'd rather have more firepower to end the fight faster.
