Thats not a bad chunk of firepower for its size. Has that trooper capability I like.

Thanks, I've always thought that 2 LRM are ridiculous.

Why?
The design is slow enough that it would not generate much of a TMM, and light enough on armor that it won’t last long against the inevitable hits against it.
Giving the design a PPC and two small LRM racks with a couple tons of ammo allows it to attempt to stay at range, give it ok heat management, and allow for alternate ammo loads (like smoke rounds) if desired.
Once you get far enough along in tech standards, replacing the LRM-5’s with MML-5’s would allow you to still stay at range, but also equip SRM’s for use if (when) battle gets close.

Two LRM 5 are not as good as a LRM 10 and the reduced damage on the TT, I do not play alpha strike, I think it could minefields but I have never done that. Also I never played with a floating map so you have limited space to engage.

Normally would agree with you about one LRM-10 vs two LRM-5’s, but in this case, I do not. To be able to mount a LRM-10 in place of the two LRM-5’s, you’d either have to give up a ton of ammo (losing 12 shots and ability to use specialty ammo while having standard as well), a ton of armor (to keep the same number of shots), or the PPC would have to be changed (downgrading firepower at longish-ranges).
